Cascade Clamps - Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company started as a small machine shop employing just 4 individuals. Total sales for that initial year amounted to about $60,000. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless steel pipe fittings, valves and various components. Through 5 years of operation, the company had expanded to 40 workers and their annual sales volume had risen to $330,000. These days, Cascade is one of the leading worldwide manufacturers within the material handling trade.

Production and design of the company's very first hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive pursuit of better business possibilities. During the last sixty years, the material handling trade has matured into a highly advanced field and Cascade has proudly performed a part in this progress. Cascade currently continues to grow as the best provider of lift truck attachments and different related products. The company feels assured in their potential to be able to continue to lead the way in the business by understanding buyer's needs in the future and remaining aggressive within the global market.

All through the nineteen fifties, Cascade began to fabricate, design, and advertise its hydraulic attachments. A new facility was built in 1956, to be able to accommodate all the plant offices and operations in Portland, Oregon, which is still the company's present headquarters. Subsequent to fifteen years of business, total employees reached one hundred eighty employees and sales had reached almost $2,300,000.

Cascade merchandise are made globally due to a lot of subsidiary operations. In the year 1944, a new plant was completed in Almere, the Netherlands which is Cascade's European command center. This plant is built to be the ultimate customer support centre.

Cascade further expanded their product base in 1996 and 1997 after buying five firms, which included the Kenhar Corporation, the worldwide leader in blades.
